Massage Therapy has been a part of my and my family’s health care routine since I was a child. Having a sister who was a high performance athlete, I saw the benefits that massage had on the body, mind and spirit. However I did not originally pursue a career in healthcare. Following my post secondary education at the University of Toronto I explored various career paths but always found that something was missing. I knew I wanted to work with people and be able to make a positive impact in their lives. Finally I realized that my life long interest in massage could become the career I had always hoped for. After 2 years of intense study and training I graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in September 2017. Now as a registered massage therapist I am eager to share my knowledge and skills with clients to help them achieve their healthcare goals. I have worked with clients from all walks of life and have experience with high risk pregnancies and perinatal massage. Whether it be injury rehabilitation, stress management or as part of a preventative healthcare routine, I believe that massage therapy has the ability to create lasting impact on the body and spirit. I incorporate deep tissue, fascial release and hydrotherapy techniques into my treatments and am eager to expand my skill set. I am currently exploring the use and benefits of aromatherapy to incorporate into my practice.
