Increase your relaxation and decrease your tension and pain through a therapeutic massage treatment. Massage affects metabolism, circulation, and muscle and nervous system functioning throughout the entire body. My main focus and goal as a registered massage therapist is to help my clients. I achieve this by increasing their relaxation through stress reduction, rehabilitate them from various injuries and conditions, and restore them back to full function. I was inspired to join the health care profession to help people by providing care through a professional therapeutic relationship where clients can become educated while they receive the most effective treatment specifically designed for them.
I graduated from the Institute of Complementary and Alternative Therapies in September of 2012. I feel that I bring a fresh outlook to the practice of massage therapy with my current knowledge and eagerness to grow and learn in the profession. My experience here included two work placements with established massage therapists, sports massage for indoor volley ball tournaments and hockey teams, as well as work within the student clinic. I have been trained to assess and treat a variety of conditions, such as stress reduction, headaches, migraines, muscular pain and tension, arthritis, sprains, strains, circulatory, respiratory, nervous system and digestive problems and more. Treatment plans and remedial exercises are designed based on your specific condition, health needs, and assessment. I am certified in hot stone and cupping massage and currently exploring the benefits of aromatherapy in my treatments.
